Dr. Esther Choo has been the most visible and vocal Korean American physician in the media, advocating the best public health practices during this pandemic. Dr. Choo is already well known as an advocate for safe and equitable health care workplaces. During the COVID-19 crisis, she has helped find and serve as an advisor for GetUsPPE.org, a non-profit that matches healthcare facilities with personal protective equipment supply nationally. Dr. Choo also serves as Chief Medical Officer of Jupe Health, creating mobile health and rest units for disasters. Since February, Dr. Choo has appeared regularly on MSNBC and CNN discussing frontline healthcare issues and has been a speaker on COVID-19 related issues with TED Talks, Aspen Health, and Medscape.
